Providence St. Joseph Hospital recently received a significant grant from the California Bridge Program to support our Substance Use Navigator (SUN) Program.

On Saturday, November 2, 2024, the VEA Newport Beach provided an elegant backdrop for the 2024 Soirée. The memorable event celebrated the hospital’s 95th anniversary and honored the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.

The center’s opening represents the power of the partnership between Providence St. Joseph Hospital and its generous donor community. A major gift from Marsha Moeller in honor of her late mother, Helen Caloggero, provided significant support. The new facility is a lasting tribute to Helen’s legacy and her giving spirit.

Our new Physician Honoree Wall allows donors to pay tribute to the compassionate care and expertise provided by our health care heroes.

The 2024 tournament raised an incredible $1,427,000, enhancing the hospital’s ability to provide top-tier critical care services.

As we reflect on our historical milestones, it’s clear that philanthropy has been an essential partner in the hospital’s success.

Born and raised in Orange County, Stavroula “Stevie” Otis, M.D., has deep ties to Providence St. Joseph Hospital. Her father, the late Peter T. Otis, M.D., was a revered hematologist at the hospital, and her mother, Peggy, remains a devoted supporter.

A loyal donor since 1985, Brenda Armour was a cherished member of the Providence St. Joseph Hospital family.
