Celebrating 95 Years
2024 Soirée for Providence St. Joseph Hospital
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, the VEA Newport Beach provided an elegant backdrop for the 2024 Soirée. The memorable event celebrated the hospital’s 95th anniversary and honored the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. Guests reflected on the hospital’s remarkable history and its continued commitment to excellence in health care.
The event set a record by raising an impressive $4.2 million, earning the title of no. 1 fundraising gala in the Orange County Business Journal’s annual Top 5 list. Thes funds will support key areas within Providence St. Joseph Hospital’s Heart and Vascular Center, including research and cutting-edge technology advancements.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Thomas Kim, M.D., medical director of noninvasive cardiology; Brian Kolski, M.D., director of structural heart disease; and Brian Palafox, M.D., chief of cardiac surgery, whose exceptional leadership as event co-chairs played a key role in the event’s success.
