St. Joseph Hospital Volunteers in Orange County
Our mission is to heal and serve the community, and volunteers in Orange County play a vital role. They help create a healing and welcoming environment, provide non-clinical assistance to patients, families and staff, and support an overall seamless and coordinated experience for all who walk through our doors. Whether you’re interested in giving back to your community or exploring health careers, volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital could be the way to go.
For more information regarding the application process and future opportunities, please visit providence.org/locations/st-joseph-hospital-orange/volunteer-opportunities. Note: St. Joseph Hospital is not accepting volunteer applications at this time.
The Robert E. Ball Emeritus Luncheon Series (REBELS) is a unique event. St. Joseph Hospital emeritus physicians who were on staff for many years are invited. The luncheons keep these hospital alumni connected and inform them about our changing landscape: new programs, procedures, health care in the community and more.
The luncheon-lecture is put on by the Foundation three times a year and is hosted by Raymond Casciari, MD. Both Dr. Casciari and Lizanne Monahan, the late Dr. Robert Ball’s daughter and member of the Foundation Board of Directors, work diligently to keep this group active.
The St. Joseph Foundation Physicians Council is a group of highly respected physicians covering all service lines and fields of medicine practiced at the Hospital. The Council helps advance the culture of philanthropy at St. Joseph Hospital and members participate in activities around donor identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
If you’re interested in joining the council, you can be nominated by a fellow physician, patient or hospital executive. You can also reach out directly to Katie McInerney at Katie.Mcinerney@stjoe.org or call (310) 337-2704 to schedule a time to discuss the opportunity.
