Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange is committed to providing exceptional transplant care when the stakes are highest. Patients and families are supported by experienced teams focused on thoughtful care and lasting recovery.
Medically-Assisted Treatment Counseling
The new Progressive Care Unit will treat medical and surgical patients whose needs are not serious enough for the Intensive Care Unit, but unstable enough for the regular hospital floor. It will nearly double the amount of intermediate-care beds. That helps move patients along their care path quicker, reduces wait times and shortens the length of stay.
Social Work Endowment Fund
This pays full-time social workers who will work with clinicians to develop treatment plans. It’s a a substantial commitment to improving care for all, including for the neediest patients facing the greatest risk.

Slated to open in 2024, the advanced four-story facility will rise at the corner of Main Street and Stewart Drive, providing a centralized location for maternity services, imaging, maternal mental health counseling, a pharmacy and more.
