Meet Alex Ramirez, M.D.

2022 Awardee, Physician Champion

Dr. Ramirez is currently the vice-chair of the Providence St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. In addition to being a board leader, he chairs the Foundation’s Physician Leadership Council, growing that effort to over 20 active members.

He and his wife, Vicky, are longtime supporters of Providence St. Joseph Hospital who engage their friends and family in giving. As active members of our Celebration Committee, they have generously and graciously opened their home to host a physician salon that helped the Foundation recruit our 2021 Celebration chairs.

Dr. Ramirez understands the importance of physician engagement with the Foundation and how that partnership can enhance philanthropy impact within the hospital. As an ambassador for physician engagement, his leadership by example is responsible for helping the hospital acquire the latest and greatest technology for our ministry, which also helps recruit the best physicians and caregivers.
