Celebration 2022
You make it possible
After two years of our loyal supporters hosting in their homes, the highly anticipated Celebration event returned to the City National Grove of Anaheim on October 15, 2022. The premier black-tie event was an incredible success raising over $1.95 million to support The Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment at Providence St. Joseph Hospital.
More than 500 guests reunited for the exciting Celebration, which featured a live performance from Terry Fator, America’s Got Talent world-famous singer, comedian, impressionist and ventriloquist. With many memorable moments, the highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Spirit of St. Joseph Award. This honor recognizes those who continually embody our mission and values through their philanthropic support. The 2022 honorees were loyal supporters Joe Conway and Judi Gorski for their passion and dedication to Providence St. Joseph Hospital.
“This year’s recipients and those we’ve honored since 1998 exemplify our values, and we are honored to celebrate their dedication to the ministry,” said Amy Daugherty, chief philanthropy officer. “We are beyond grateful for Joe and Judi to be within our Providence St. Joseph family.”
Title sponsor Marsha Moeller was joined by many other supporters united in fighting the battle against cancer. “We are so grateful to Marsha and all of our guests for their incredible generosity,” says event co-chairs Michele Carpenter, M.D., and Stavroula Otis, M.D.
“This type of commitment requires a large community. Together, we are helping to bring the most advanced cancer care to our Dear Neighbors.”
